Welcome to Back Country Contracting — proudly owned and operated by Lachlan Culican in Mansfield, Victoria. Lachlan grew up in the High Country, spending weekends mustering cattle and competing in campdrafts with his family. With qualifications in Equine Studies, a background in bricklaying, including three Apprentice of the Year awards, and years of experience as a stockman, contract musterer, and Fencer across Australia, he brings skill, pride, and craftsmanship to every job. Now managing a 2,500-acre cattle property in Howes Creek, Lachlan specialises in custom post and rail fencing, rural property improvements and stock work — built strong, built right, and built to last.
